Educational Program and Grants

IAWP promotes educational activities by targeting growth and development of all individuals in the Employment Security and Training System.

Educational grants are awarded by IAWP to its members for job related academic study. There are individual grants available on the International and State levels.

• Logan S Chambers Scholarship (International Level)
• E. R. Herring Foundation Grant (State Level)

The Professional Development Program (PDP) is a series of study guides and tests designed to measure knowledge of workforce development programs. It provides members a chance to learn more about their profession and enhance career growth. There are currently four areas:

• Workforce Development
• Employment and Training
• Tax and Benefits
• Labor Market Information
